Gaels earn four medals at OUA Figure Skating Championship, highlighted by gold in Star 8/9 Pair Dance

Queen's Figure Skating skated to an impressive fourth place overall finish at the OUA Figure Skating Championship in Thorold, Ont. this week, securing four medals across all competitions.

The Gaels medal haul was highlighted by a gold medal performance in the Star 8/9 Pair Dance, skated by Jade Paganelli and Juliana Ye.
 
Queen's also earned a silver medal at the Championship in the Gold Artistic event skated by Zander Neilsen.

And the Gaels capped their podium performances with bronze medals in the Gold Solo Dance, skated by Colleen Tordoff, and the Synchro event.

Queen's finished the Championship with 48 combined points for fourth in the team competition, eight points ahead of fifth place McMaster.

Western won the banner, finishing with a combined 89 points, while Toronto finished second and Guelph third.
