Queen's Women's Basketball fell to the Carleton Ravens 63-55 in the OUA Critelli Cup Championship Saturday night in Ottawa, Ont. With the loss, the Gaels finished as OUA silver medalists.

Queen's fell behind by double digits in the first half, trailing by 18 points at half time, before mounting a big second half comeback, which ultimately fell short in the eight-point loss. The Gaels cut the Ravens' lead to as little three points in the fourth quarter, but couldn't quite mount the comeback.

Laura Donovan (London, Ont.) led all Gaels players with 18 points while OUA Defensive Player of the Year Julia Chadwick (Ottawa, Ont.) finished with a huge double double, recording 14 points and 17 rebounds.

Queen's will close out their 2023-24 season at the U SPORTS Women's Basketball Championship in Edmonton, Alta. next weekend.
