Queen's Men's Basketball came up short against the Carleton Ravens, 93-89, Saturday night in Ottawa, Ont.
After the Ravens built a nine-point lead through the first quarter, the Gaels battled back and held a one-point lead heading into the fourth quarter, but Carleton would win the final frame and hold on for the four-point win.
Five players scored in double digits for Queen's in the loss, led by
Luka Syllas (Kingston, Ont.) with a team-high 22 points.
Cole Syllas (Kingston, Ont.) and Cam Bett (Staines-upon-Thames, UK) scored 15 points each,
Connor Kelly (Brockville, Ont.) recorded 13 points, and Michael Kelvin (Kingston, Ont.) added 11 points.
With the loss, the Gaels record fell to 8-3. Queen's returns to the court next weekend back home at the Athletics and Recreation Centre (ARC), hosting the McMaster Marauders on Friday night at 8 p.m. and the York Lions on Saturday night at 8 p.m.
