Queen's Men's Hockey scored two third period goals to defeat the Concordia Stingers 3-1 Saturday night in Montreal, Que.
After the Stingers opened the scoring midway through the first period on the power play, the Gaels evened the score eight minutes later when
Dalton Duhart (Grand Blanc, Mich.) evened the scoring.
Samuel Marburg (North Vancouver, B.C.) gave Queen's their first lead of the game early in the third period and
Cameron Tolnai (Oakville, Ont.) cemented the win with a power play goal later in the period.
One night after recording a shutout win,
Christian Purboo (Oakville, Ont.) made 38 saves for a second straight win.
With the victory, the Gaels improved their record to 14-7-1-0. Queen's returns to the ice next weekend, hosting the Stingers Friday night at the Memorial Centre.
