Queen's Men's Hockey defeats Concordia Stingers 3-0 on Friday, January 26, at the Memorial Centre in Kingston, Ontario.

The first period consisted of many close opportunities for both teams, but no goals or penalties. However, just twenty seconds into the second period, Hayden Fowler scored a goal for Queen's, putting the Gaels in the lead. 

Like the previous period, Samuel Marburg put the puck in the back of Concordia's net only sixteen seconds into the third period. With a 2-0 lead, the Stingers pulled their goalie, allowing Alex Robert to score the third and final goal for Queen's on an empty net. 

Christian Purboo, who played in goal for Queen's, had a total of 19 shots on net, letting in zero. 

After this win, the Gaels' overall standing will rise to 15-8-0, and the men will be back in action on Wednesday, January 31st, where they will take on the York Lions in Kingston.
