KINGSTON, Ont. (April 26, 2023) – The OUA released the Men's and Women's Volleyball schedule for the 2023-24 season on Wednesday, with the Queen's Gaels starting their season with a weekend doubleheader across town against the rival RMC Paladins.

Queen's will travel to RMC to take on the Paladins on Friday, Nov. 3 and Sunday, Nov. 5, with a Women's and Men's doubleheader on both days.

The Gaels will return home the next week for their home opener, hosting the Trent Excalibur in Women's and Men's doubleheaders at the Athletics and Recreation Centre (ARC) on Friday, Nov. 10 and Saturday, Nov. 11.

Queen's Women's Volleyball finished last season with an 11-9 record before advancing to the OUA Quigley Cup Championship as the No. 7 seed in the OUA Playoffs. The Gaels were edged by the Brock Badgers 3-2 in the Championship Game.

Queen's Men's Volleyball also finished last season with an 11-9 record before getting eliminated in the first round of the OUA Playoffs.

The Gaels will host the Badgers in Week 3, with doubleheaders on Saturday, Nov. 18 and Sunday, Nov. 19 before Queen's finishes the first half of the regular season on the road, taking on the Windsor Lancers Friday, Dec. 1 and Saturday, Dec. 2.

Second half home games include weekend series with the York Lions, McMaster Marauders, and Guelph Gryphons.

Queen's will end the season with a weekend road series against the Western Mustangs on Friday, Feb. 16 and Saturday, Feb. 17.

The OUA Playoffs will begin on Saturday, Feb. 24 with the Quigley Cup (Women's) and Forsyth Cup (Men's) Championships scheduled for Saturday, March 9.

Queen's is also hosting the 2023-24 U SPORTS Men's Volleyball Championship at the ARC from March 15-17.
