KINGSTON, Ont. (Nov. 2, 2023) - Three Queen's Men's Soccer players were named OUA All-Stars by the conference on Thursday.

Pablo Hempelmann-Perez and Matthew Ciavarro were named East Division First Team All-Stars while Jadon Lashley was named an East Division Second Team All-Star.

Hempelmann-Perez and Ciavarro led the OUA in points at the end of the regular season.

Hempelmann-Perez (Toronto, Ont.) ranked first, with 17 points through 12 games, while Ciavarro (Cambridge, Ont.) was second, two points behind at 15 points.

Hempelmann-Perez and Ciavarro also finished tied for second in goals in the conference, each finishing with 11 on the season, one behind the leader, Chris Campoli from the TMU Bold.

At the national level, Hempelmann-Perez finished second in U SPORTS in points, two behind Sebastian Dzikowski from UBC, who led the country with 19 points. Ciavarro finished third.

Lashley (Aurora, Ont.) appeared in nine games for the Gaels this season, finishing with two assists, and helping Queen's earn a first round playoff game after a 7-3-2 record in the regular season.
