Seema Sakran and
Miles Brackenbury have been named the Queen's University Student-Athletes of the Week for their performances over the weekend.
Sakran (Barrie, Ont.) netted a hat trick in Queen's Women's Soccer's 10-0 win over the RMC Paladins this past Sunday at Richardson Stadium.
The No. 8 Gaels improved their record to 2-0-2 with the win, and now sit third in the OUA East division standings.
Brackenbury (Kingston, Ont.) helped Queen's Men's Cross Country finish second overall in their first event of the season, the McGill Invitational.
Brackenbury was the Gaels' top finisher on the Men's side for Queen's, coming in third place overall with a time of 19:08 in the 6 KM event.
