KINGSTON, Ont. (Feb. 16, 2022) - Queen's Men's Hockey earned their 10th win of the regular season Wednesday night with a 4-1 win over the RMC Paladins in a cross-town clash at Constantine Arena.
Hayden Fowler (Kingston, Ont.) led the way with one goal and two assists while
Holden Katzalay (West Vancouver, B.C.) added a goal and an assist, and
Alex Robert (Ottawa, Ont.) had two assists.
Jacob Paquette (Ottawa, Ont.) added a shorthanded goal for the Gaels while
Owen Lalonde (Windsor, Ont.) scored on the power play in the three-goal win for Queen's.
Matthew Hotchkiss (Courtice, Ont.) and
Ben Fanjoy (Ottawa, Ont.) also found the scoresheet, recording assists.
Queen's outshot RMC 40-21 with
Luke Richardson (Barrie, Ont.) making 20 stops in the win.
With the win, the Gaels improved their record to 10-1-1 and grew their lead atop the OUA East division. The Paladins' record fell to 1-9-2 with the loss.
Queen's will return to the ice this weekend, taking on the Nipissing Lakers on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in North Bay, Ont.Â
