Queen's Men's Basketball completed the weekend road trip sweep with a big 90-49 win over the host Waterloo Warriors in Waterloo, Ont. Saturday.
Queen's jumped out to an early 15-point lead in the first quarter and never looked back. The Gaels held a 22-point lead at half time and outscored the Warriors 33-12 in the third quarter.
Four Gaels scored in double digits in the win, led by
Scott Jenkins who led all scorers with 23 points off Queen's bench.
Cole Syllas recorded a double double with 14 points and a game-high 21 rebounds while
David Ayon finished with 12 points and
Adrian Nowak added 10 points.
The Gaels recorded an impressive 50 points in the win, improving their record to 7-0 on the season.
Queen's will return to the court next weekend, hosting the TMU Bold on Friday, Dec. 2 and the Toronto Varsity Blues on Saturday, Dec. 3 at the Athletics and Recreation Centre before the holiday break.
