KINGSTON, Ont. (Dec. 2, 2022) - Queen's Men's Basketball fell to the TMU Bold 84-82 in a game that went down to the wire Friday night at the Athletics and Recreation Centre (ARC).
It was a nail biter the whole way through for the men's team tonight. Being down single digits at the end of every quarter, the Gaels put up a great fight against the Bold the entire game. The fourth quarter was as close as it could be with the Gaels taking the lead by one in the final minutes. Unfortunately, TMU's Ankit Choudhary scored a three pointer in the final three seconds of the game to put the visitors ahead for the win.
Â
Cole Syllas scored 21 points and had a total of eight rebounds. Michael Kelvin,
Connor Keefe,
Connor Kelly, and
Luka Syllas were all able to score double digit points as well.
Â
The loss was the Gaels' first of the season, dropping their record to 7-1 on the season.
Â
The Gaels will play their final game before winter break as they take on the Toronto Varsity Blues at the ARC Saturday night at 8 p.m. The game will also be available to stream at oua.tv.
