KINGSTON, Ont. (Oct. 22, 2022) - Queen's Women's Rugby is returning to the OUA Championship Game after a 90-0 win over the Western Mustangs in the semifinals Saturday at Nixon Field.
Maggie Banks (Coquitlam, B.C.) opened the scoring in the first minute for the Gaels, with Lizzie Gibson (Caledon, Ont.) adding the convert and Queen's never looked back.
Gibson, who led the country in scoring in the regular season with 176 points, led the way offensively for the Gaels again Saturday with one try and 10 conversions for 25 points.
Banks and
Carmen Izyk (Blackie, Alta.)Â had strong games for Queen's offensively as well, with both recording two tries.

The Gaels will be in action next weekend, hosting the OUA Championship at Nixon Field.
