Siksna, Duncanson named to Canada’s roster for the FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship

Queen's Men's Volleyball players Erik Siksna and Cole Duncanson have been named to Canada's roster for the FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship.

Queen's Men's Volleyball Head Coach Gabriel deGroot is also part of the team as an assistant coach.

Siksna (Markham, Ont.) was named an OUA All-Star and the OUA Rookie of the year as he helped the Gaels win the OUA championship in 2019-20. Siksna was also named U SPORTS Rookie of the Year and was named to the U SPORTS All-Rookie team that year. 

Duncanson (St. Catherine's, Ont.) joined the Gaels at the start of 2020 and was a member of Team Ontario Volleyball.

The FIVB Volleyball Men's U21 World Championship takes place Sept. 23-Oct. 3 in Italy and Bulgaria. Canada will begin its competition in Sofia, Bulgaria as part of Pool D with Russia, Brazil, and Cameroon.
