Rasheed Tucker finished with 183 offensive yards and scored three touchdowns to lead Queen's Football's offensive efforts in their 41-14 win over the Carleton Ravens to kick off the OUA Playoffs.
With the OUA quarterfinal win, Queen's advanced to the OUA semifinal where they will host the Ottawa Gee-Gees.
Tucker (Ajax, Ont.) finished the game with 19 carries for 170 yards and two touchdowns, while adding a 13-yard touchdown reception.
Queen's finished with 385 rushing yards. Aside from Tucker's 170,
Burke Derbyshire (Kingston, Ont.) finished the game with 98 yards on 10 carries and quarterback
James Keenan (Ottawa, Ont.) had 67 yards on six carries.
On defence,
Nolan Bedard (Montreal, Que.) led the way with five tackles while
Walter Karabin (King City, Ont.) finished with a team-high 1.5 sacks.
Wells Karabin (King City, Ont.) and
Anthony Federico (Niagara Falls, Ont.) each recorded one sack while
Van Wishart (Courtice, Ont.) recorded the half sack.
Ashton Miller-Melancon (Montreal, Que.), who finished the regular season with an OUA-leading four interceptions, picked up another one in the Gaels' win.
Queen's will host the Gee-Gees in the OUA East Final with a spot in the Yates Cup on the line on Saturday, Nov. 13 at 1 p.m. at Richardson Stadium.
