WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL: Gaels to honour graduating Senior on Saturday
The Queen's Gaels (10-6) will host the No.10 nationally-ranked Waterloo Warriors (10-5) on Friday night and the Guelph Gryphons (9-7) on Saturday to close out their home OUA regular season portion of the schedule. Both matches are set for 6 pm start times.

The Gaels had a rare bye week from competition with no matches on the schedule last weekend but are winners of two of their past three contests. The Gaels continue to have players at or near the top of many statistical categories in the OUA this season as Arielle Palermo leads in aces per set (0.79) and is third in kills per set (3.33) while Lauryn Colpitts is second in assists per set (8.82) and Danielle Corrigan is fifth in hitting percentage (0.287).

The Warriors currently sit third in the OUA West but are just two points out of second and four out of first. Waterloo has won six of their seven matches so far in 2020. For Guelph, they are chasing Waterloo in the West and sit two points behind the Warriors.

Queen's will honour their graduating senior on Saturday night in a special ceremony. This year Danielle Corrigan will be recognized. Corrigan has appeared in all 16 matches and enters the weekend with 150 points this season.

MEN'S VOLLEYBALL: No.7 Gaels closeout home OUA regular season with Senior day Saturday
The No.7 Queen's Gaels (11-4) host their final two OUA regular-season home matches this weekend when they welcome the Waterloo Warriors (3-10) on Friday and the Guelph Gryphons (9-5) on Saturday. Both matches are set for 8 pm start times.

The Gaels were able to rest up last weekend with no games on their schedule. Queen's heads into the weekend having won two straight and nine of their past 10 matches. Queen's setter Zane Grossinger leads the OUA in assists per set at 10.06 and is the only player to be at 10 or more on average. Over the Gaels last six matches, he is averaging 11.7 assists per set.

The Warriors have struggled this season but have picked up wins over Windsor, York and Trent. Guelph is a potential playoff opponent of the Gaels and has won four of their last six, losing twice to McMaster in that stretch.

Queen's will honour their graduating senior on Saturday night in a special ceremony. This year Zac Hutcheson will be recognized. Hutcheson is well on his way to another incredible season as he currently sits second in the OUA in hitting percentage (0.378) and is closing in on 700 career kills.

Over the Gaels last four games, Julia Chadwick is averaging 14.5 points and 13 rebounds per game.

MEN'S BASKETBALL: Gaels visit York and No.8 Lakehead looking to clinch home playoff game

The Gaels continue to fight for a home playoff game and sit just two points ahead of Brock and McMaster who are tied for the final home playoff position with the other set to be on the road. Queen's can secure their own fate with a pair of victories this weekend. The Gaels have been hot of late as they have won five of their last six and 10 of their last 13 contests.

The York Lions currently sit at the bottom of the OUA Central but are coming off a win over Ontario Tech on Wednesday. The Gaels currently sit in sixth place in the OUA but could still finish out of the playoffs. Queen's has just the one game remaining while Ryerson sits in seventh place one point behind the Gaels with two games left and both Western and Guelph sit tied for eighth only two points behind Queen's and each has two games left in their season. Gaels goaltender Makenzy Arsenault heads into Saturday with two straight shutouts.
