WOMEN'S SQUASH
No better way to end off the Jesters season than an undefeated weekend at the final crossover before the OUA championship. This weekend, the Queen's women's squash team traveled to Toronto to face Brock, Western, Guelph, and McMaster.Â
With promising wins against all schools, the women's team came out of the weekend without dropping a single match. The team's confidence is now fueled for the OUA championships on February 8th at White Oaks Resort.
Courtney Orcutt and Rachel Phinnemore had the opportunity to trade off playing position seven and both showed their true Gaels colours. Rachel Phinnemore was down 3-6 in the fifth against Guelph and managed to come back and win eight straight points to seal the match. The weekend was filled with excitement and team bonding experiences as the team continues recruitment for successful seasons to come.Â
