This weekend Queen's Sailing Team member Clara Gravely attended the Faye Bennet Singlehanded Women's Conference Championship in Annapolis, Maryland.
The event was hosted by the US Naval Academy, which had a beautiful campus and sailing centre. On day one, the women completed a long day of 10 races in 10-12 knots. Day two was forecasted to be very light winds but turned out much better than expected, allowing the sailors to complete another four races in 8-12 knots to finish off the event. Clara finished 2
ndplace of 16 boats, qualifying her for the US College Nationals in California.
