OUA PLAYOFFS
Women's RugbyÂ
The No. 3 Queen's Gaels women's rugby team takes on the Brock Badgers on Friday night at 7:30 pm at Nixon Field in the OUA Semifinals.Â
The Gaels went undefeated in the regular season and previously earned a blowout 82-7 victory over the Badgers on Sept 21.Â
Look for Sophie de Goede to play an impactful role in the contest. De Goede's ability to execute conversions and be central in the team's attack is a key reason how the Gaels accumulated 371 points in the regular season.Â
The matchup has massive implications going forward as the winner will also qualify for the U SPORTS national championship which is hosted by the Ottawa Gee-Gees this year. The Gaels also would host the OUA championship next weekend should they defeat Brock.
Admission is FREE or catch the action live on OUA.tv.

The No. 1 Gaels women's cross country team came first last Saturday in the Paul Short Run at Lehigh University, while the No. 5 Gaels men's team finished 16th against NCAA competition.
