After a pair of third place finishes for the rowing team, the Gaels are set for B.C. to compete at the Canadian University Rowing Championships this weekend. With many medal performances at the provincial level, the Gaels will be putting their skills to the test against the nations best looking to bring back more hardware to Queen's.
The action takes place this Saturday and Sunday from the water in Victoria.

OUA PLAYOFFS
The Gaels men's rugby team will host the Brock Badgers in the OUA semifinals at 1pm at Nixon Field. The Gaels earned a first-round bye and didn't play last weekend while the Badgers defeated Waterloo 29-12 in the OUA quarterfinals.
Queen's previously defeated Brock 109-0 in their most recent matchup in 2018.Â
With a victory the Gaels would once again host the OUA final at Nixon Field. Queen's has won their past 26 straight OUA regular season and playoff contests. The game is free for all to attend and will also be streamed live on OUA.tv.
Women's Hockey
The Gaels women's hockey team (2-2) will face the Laurier Golden Hawks (0-4) on Friday at 7:30pm and Waterloo Warriors (0-4) on Saturday at 7:30pm at the Memorial Centre.Â
Gaels second-year forward
Quinn Johnston will continue to lead the Gaels offensively. Johnston leads Queen's with three goals this season tied for the third best tally in the OUA. Men's Hockey
After drubbing the Nipissing Lakers 1-0 and 8-1 at home last weekend, the Gaels men's hockey team (4-3) head east to challenge the Carleton Ravens (7-1) and McGill (4-3).
While the Gaels exploded last weekend for eight goals against Nipissing they will face the second-toughest defence in the OUA East Division as the first-place Ravens have allowed only 18 goals against this season, six more than Queen's who rank first in division (12).

Women's Basketball
The Gaels women's basketball team (2-0) will look to continue their winning streak starting with their home opener on Friday morning. The Gaels will play Guelph (0-0) in 11:00 am matchup in the ARC Main Gym and will travel to face Ontario Tech (0-2) at 1:00 pm.Â
Michelle Istead and
Emma Ritcey led the Gaels with statement performances against Nipissing and Laurentian, averaging 17.0 ppg and 16.5 ppg respectively.
Men's Basketball
The Gaels men's basketball team (1-1) will host the Guelph Gryphons at 1:00 pm in their home opener at the ARC Main Gym. The Gaels (1-1) will also travel to face Ontario Tech (0-2) on Sunday at 3:00pm.
Quinton Gray is averaging 25.5 ppg and 4.0 threes per game through two games this season. Gray led the Gaels with a career high 31 points in Queen's 86-82 loss against Laurentian.

Men's Volleyball
The Gaels men's volleyball team (0-2) host their first homestand this season against No.5 McMaster (2-0) at 8:00pm on Friday and on Saturday vs Brock (1-1) at 8:00pm in the ARC Main Gym.
Queen's will look to bounce back after dropping their first two games of the season on the road against York and Nipissing last weekend.
The Gaels will see their OUA championship banner raised to the rafters of the Queen's ARC in a special pre-game ceremony to honour the 2018-19 champions.

Women's Volleyball
The Gaels women's volleyball team (2-0) will challenge on Friday against McMaster (0-2) at 6:00 pm and Brock (2-0) at on Saturday in the ARC Main Gym. The Gaels opened the season with a perfect opening weekend beating York 3-1 and Nipissing 3-0.
Queen's achieved their first Top 10 ranking in program history this week as they are the No.9 team in the nation.
