Queen's Sailing claims 2019 CICSA Championship

Over the past weekend the Queen's Gaels competed in the final national championship of the season hosted by RMC.

The weekend presented a range in weather conditions from drifting in no wind and racing being abandoned due to too much wind. By the end of the long and intense battle for the championship, Queen's was able to secure a 2nd place at this event which was sufficient to claim the Gaels the overall 2019 CICSA League championship!

The Gaels previously won the CICSA league championship in 2017 when it was first started. The amazing team that fought hard for this title over the weekend was represented by Max Willms, Lucia Pendolino, Scott Gittens, Maggie MacDonald, Ben Stevens and Aryeh Kozuch.

The Gaels would also like to extend a big thanks to their coaches Rachel Harris and Daniel Sheedy for their hard work in helping to win this title.
