Men's Rugby
After a commanding 59-16 win over the Waterloo Warriors in the OUA semifinal, the Gaels (8-0, 1-0) turn their attention to yet another OUA Championship final against the Guelph Gryphons (7-1, 1-0).

Game time is set for 1pm on Sunday, November 11 at Nixon Field. Admission is FREE for all fans that want to watch to action in person, or you can stream the game live on OUA.tv.

This is the Gaels' eighth consecutive OUA finals appearance as they've gone 5-2 in championship games since 2011. The Gaels and the Gryphons will meet for the fifth consecutive season in the OUA finals. The Gaels have hosted two of the previous four OUA Championship meetings but have won three of the four of those games.

Last year, the Gaels had their most dominant OUA Championship win as they rolled past the Gryphons 62-17 at Nixon Field. The win capped off an undefeated season, which the Gaels will hope to replicate come Sunday afternoon.

The Gaels and Gryphons met once in the regular season in Guelph. Queen's came away with a 40-13 win, which helped secure home-field advantage through the OUA playoffs. The Gaels held a slim 14-6 edge at halftime before breaking away in the second half for a statement win.

With a successful performance on Sunday, the Gaels could secure their OUA-leading 24th Turner Trophy.

Women's Basketball
The women's basketball team (2-1) will host their home opening games this weekend as they welcome Guelph (3-1) and Algoma (0-4) to the ARC.

SGPS Night
On Friday Nov. 9, Queen's Athletics will welcome members of the Society of Graduate and Professional Students to the game. As members of SGPS you have free access to the ARC with your student card, allowing you to be able to work out, attend classes, swim, and see exciting games! The Gaels will host the Guelph Gryphons on Friday at 6pm, whose only loss this season came to a No.2 Ryerson Rams team. They are the fourth highest scoring team in the province, averaging 73.5 points per game. It will be a battle between Guelph's high-powered offence and Queen's tight-knit defence.

Then on Saturday at 6pm, the Gaels will host Algoma. The Thunderbirds are coming off a 2-22 season which was tied for last in the OUA. This season, they are off to a 0-4 start and are shooting under 30% on the season.

Tickets for both games can be purchased at gogaelsgo.com/tickets or you can catch the action live on OUA.tv.

The Gaels held their first two opponents to under 34% shooting from the field before a high scoring loss against Windsor. Marianne Alarie has had an excellent start to her season posting 24 points per game, which leads the OUA.

Men's Basketball
The Queen's men's basketball team (1-2) will will host their home opening games this weekend as they welcome Guelph (0-4) and Algoma (1-3) to the ARC.

The Gaels will host Guelph on Friday at 8pm. The Gryphons are allowing an OUA-high 96 points per game which has led to their 0-4 start. Guards Malcolm Glanville and Tommy Yanchus lead the Gryphons with their 17 points per game.

Then on Saturday, the Gaels host Algoma at 8pm. The last time the Gaels took on the Thunderbirds was in December of 2016 when Queen's came away with an 85-77 win on home court.

Tickets for both games can be purchased at gogaelsgo.com/tickets or you can catch the action live on OUA.tv.

Men's Hockey
The men's hockey team (6-3-0) are looking to rebound off a rough weekend in Ottawa where they suffered two losses to OUA East rivals Carleton and uOttawa. However, things won't get any easier this weekend as the No.9 UQTR Patriotes (6-3-0) come into town riding a three-game winning streak.

The two teams will play a doubleheader with a game on Friday and Saturday night at 7:30pm. You can get tickets for both games at gogaelsgo.com/tickets or you can watch the action live on OUA.tv.

After spending the last two weekends on the road, the Gaels finally return home to the Memorial Centre where they are 2-1-0 this year. Offence has not been an issue for the Gaels who have put up 30 goals in just nine games, however last weekend they gave up 10 goals which is more than any weekend total over the past five seasons.

Meanwhile, UQTR will enter the Memorial Centre coming off three impressive wins over top teams in OUA (Ryerson, McGill and Concordia). Forwards Christophe Boivin and Mathieu Lemay, who have 11 points each, lead this Patriotes squad who are looking to reclaim their place among the top of the OUA East. The Gaels will likely face goaltender Sebastien Auger who has been a staple of UQTR and has posted a .925 save percentage in five starts.

Women's Hockey
The No.10 women's hockey team (5-2-0-0) re-enter the U SPORTS top-10 due in part to their four-game winning streak. After a very short road stint in Oshawa last weekend, the Gaels head right back to the Memorial Centre as they host a pair of Toronto-based teams.

A huge part of the Gaels success has been goaltender Makenzy Arsenault who has found rhythm in the Queen's net. In seven starts she's posted a staggering .943 save percentage and a 1.30 GAA en route to a 5-2 record. The Gaels top line of Katrina Manoukarakis, Caroline DeBruin and Hailey Wilson have been red hot during the win streak and currently stand atop the Gaels' in points.

On Saturday afternoon at 2:30pm, the Gaels will take on the Toronto Varsity Blues (4-1-0-1). Toronto is a team that has no problems with putting the puck in the net. Their 24 goals are most in the OUA and seven more than the Gaels in one less game played.

Then on Sunday afternoon at 2:30pm, the Gaels will play the Ryerson Rams (2-2-2-0). The Rams have had a strong start to their season propelled by a pair of overtime wins. Despite being outscored this season, they are not a team to be taken lightly this weekend.

Tickets for both games can be purchased at gogaelsgo.com/tickets or you can catch the action live at OUA.tv.

Women's Volleyball
The Gaels looked (2-2) very impressive last weekend as they almost upset the reigning U SPORTS champion Ryerson in five sets. The Gaels are one of the rare teams who have pushed the Rams to their limits over the past year. The following day they used that momentum to pick up a huge win over the Toronto Varsity Blues.

The Gaels' Caroline Livingston and Julia Wiercigroch have led the way offensively as both stand in the top-10 of total kills. Meanwhile, Alexandra Tsiofas sits third in the OUA with 50 digs.

Now, they turn their attention to another pair of road games as they head to southern Ontario for the weekend. On Friday at 6pm, the Gaels will take on the McMaster Marauders (0-2). This game will be available to watch live on OUA.tv.

Then on Saturday at 6pm, the Gaels will head to St. Catharines to take on the Brock Badgers (1-3).

Men's Volleyball
The men's volleyball team (2-2) are also coming off an impressive weekend where they defeated Ryerson in five sets on their home court. Now, they take on the McMaster Marauders (2-0) and the Brock Badgers (0-4).

On Friday at 8pm, the Gaels and Marauders will meet in what should be a must-see matchup. This McMaster program has won the last six OUA Championships, with Queen's claiming the only other championship in this decade. The Marauders have made quick work of their two previous opponents, sweeping Toronto and Windsor on the road in straight sets. Now the Gaels will look to upset the Marauders during their home opener.

You can watch this matchup live on OUA.tv.

Then on Saturday at 8pm, the Gaels will take on the Brock Badgers. Brock has had a rough start to their season as they've only won one set in four games. The Gaels are hoping their narrative remains the same as they battle in the Bob Davis Gym in St. Catharines.
