Women's Rugby
The No.5 women's rugby team is coming off a 29-24 win over the No.10 McMaster Marauders in the OUA semifinal and now they have their toughest challenge of the season ahead of them, the OUA Championship game.

The Gaels will be heading to Guelph on Saturday, October 20 for the OUA Championship against the No.4 Gryphons. It is the second consecutive year that the two schools will meet in the OUA title game after Guelph came away with a 43-17 win at home last year.

With their OUA semifinal win, the Gaels clinched a berth into the U SPORTS National Championship beginning on Sunday, November 4, which is hosted by Acadia University. The Gaels are hoping to enter the tournament as OUA Champions for the second time in their history, and the first since 2013.

A full preview will be posted by the OUA within the coming days. You can click here when it's live.

You can catch all of the championship action live on OUA.tv and be sure to follow @queensgaels on Twitter for updates and highlights.

Men's Rugby
The Gaels (7-0) have had another fantastic season as they clinched the top overall seed in the OUA with their 60-15 win over the Western Mustangs last weekend. However, the still have one more game to go until the OUA playoffs as they host the McMaster Marauders (4-3) at Nixon Field in the hopes of completing their second consecutive undefeated regular season.
These two teams met in the final game of last year's season as the Gaels cruised to a 62-18 win on the road. Now, the Gaels will have the support of their home crowd as they take on a Marauders' squad who is hungry to climb up the OUA standings with a win on Saturday.

Game time is set for 3pm on Saturday, October 20 from Nixon Field. Admission is free for all fans, but if you can't make it to the game you can watch live on OUA.tv.

Men's Hockey
The No.4 Gaels (3-0-0) are off to a red-hot start to their season with an overtime winner against No.8 McGill and two shutout victories over RMC and UOIT. Now they must turn their focus to two of the toughest opponents from the OUA West, Guelph and Brock.

On Friday, October 19 at 7:30pm, the Gaels will host the Guelph Gryphons (0-1-1) at the Memorial Centre. The Gryphons are coming off a stellar 2017-18 campaign where they claimed the top overall seed in the OUA West with a 21-6-1 record.

Being from different divisions, the Gaels and Gryphons don't meet on a consistent basis, meaning Friday's game will be your only chance to catch high-powered Gryphons offence in action this season. The last time these two teams met was in the 2016-17 season where the Gaels pulled out a 3-2 win on home ice.

Then on Saturday, the Gaels will host the defending Queen's Cup finalist No.10 Brock Badgers (2-0-0). Brock has turned into one of the most threatening teams in the OUA after their deep playoff run last season from seemingly out of nowhere.

Game time is set for 7:30pm at the Memorial Centre. You can get tickets for both games at gogaelsgo.com/tickets or you can stream the games live on OUA.tv.

Women's Hockey
The women's hockey team (1-0-1-0) are looking to bounce back from a heartbreaking loss to the No.9 Nipissing Lakers as they head out on the road for their first set of away games in this early season.

They'll have their work cut out for them as they kick off their weekend of action on Friday against the Western Mustangs (0-0-0-0) in London. The Mustangs and Gaels met in the McCaw Cup Championship game last season in Kingston. However, it was the Mustangs who came out on top with a 3-0 shutout of the Gaels.

They are led by April Clark who had 12 goals and 22 points last season as well as Carmen Lasis who posted a 13-4 record in net.

Then on Saturday, the Gaels will make the trip south as they take on the Windsor Lancers (0-1-0-0). Windsor had a miserable 2017-18 campaign finishing with a 4-1-17-2 record.  The Gaels took both meetings against the Lancers last season including a 3-2 shootout win on the road and an 8-1 win at home.

Women's Soccer
The women's soccer team (8-2-4) heads into their final weekend of the regular season with a slim lead of the second seed in the OUA East. With just two games remaining and just a three-point advantage over Nipissing, the Gaels will need every point they can get.

The Gaels open the weekend at Carleton (6-3-5). The Gaels hosted the Ravens earlier this year as both teams were held to a scoreless draw at Richardson Stadium. This weekend will be just as important for the Ravens because they could finish anywhere from second to fifth.

Then on Sunday, the Gaels will look for some revenge as they take on the No.? Ottawa Gee-Gees (12-1-1). These two teams battled at Richardson Stadium in late September and despite a 2-0 Gee-Gees win, the game was evenly matched throughout. Although the Gee-Gees top seed may be out of reach, a win on Sunday could build a lot of confidence for this Gaels squad heading into the OUA playoffs.

Men's Soccer
The men's soccer team (8-5-1) are in action for their final two games of the season this week starting with an evening matchup tonight against the UOIT Ridgebacks (4-10-0).

The Gaels need just a single point over their next two games to lock up the fourth seed and home field advantage through the first round of the OUA playoffs. They are coming off a huge weekend where they picked up 1-0 wins over Laurentian and Nipissing. The win against the Lakers was important in particular as the Gaels created a six-point cushion between themselves and the Lakers for that fourth seed.

Game time is set for 5pm tonight at Miklas-McCarney Field. Admission is free for all fans.

Then on Saturday, the Gaels will close out the regular season with a matchup against the No.4 Carleton Ravens (12-1-1). Despite holding on to the top seed, there will be a lot on the line for the Ravens as they look to outpace Ryerson in the standings.

Game time is set for 3:15pm in Ottawa, Ont.
