FULL SCHEDULE: Women's soccer schedule

The No.7 Gaels women's soccer team returns to regular season action with their home opener on Miklas-McCarney Field at noon on Saturday, September 3, against the Nipissing Lakers. Queen's is also home to the Laurentian Voyageurs on Sunday at 12pm. Last year in the OUA quarter-finals, the Gaels upset the second seeded Voyageurs 2-1.

After being eliminated early in the OUA playoffs in 2014, Queen's ended the one year medal drought with OUA gold last year. Returning to the lineup with the hope of repeating as OUA Champions are OUA East All-Stars Lidia Bradau (Woodbridge, Ont.) and Jenny Wolever (Toronto).

The Queen's women's soccer team has put together an impressive resume over the past seven years, accumulating two OUA Championships, two OUA silver medals, two OUA bronze medals, one CIS silver medal, and earning back-to-back CIS Championships. The Gaels need only channel the energy of the last few years to find success again in 2016.
