Women's rugby recruit Kasa-Vubu claims silver at the 2015 Youth Commonwealth Games

Canada claimed silver at the 2015 Youth Commonwealth Games after losing 36-5 to Australia in the final Thursday.

Canada had previously gone 4-1 in the pool stages to finish second and qualify for the final. Their lone pool loss was against Australia.

Australia won the gold medal after running in six tries in the final. Australia tallied four first half tries to lead 24-0 at the break before Canada got on the board early in the second half as Christina Branch continued her fine tournament with another try. However, Australia added two more tries in the closing minutes to claim gold at the inaugural event.
