The Queen's Gaels are in action on numerous fronts this week. Here's a rundown of when and where to catch your Gaels in action at home, or how to follow them on the road.
GAME OF THE WEEKÂ Men's HockeyThis week the Gaels (11-12-1) play two games as they take on the RMC Paladins (0-20-3) on Thursday at 7:30pm for the 29
th Carr-Harris Cup at the Rogers K-Rock Centre and Saturday at 7:30pm against the No.8 UQTR Patriotes (18-4-2) at the Memorial Centre.
For a full preview of the Carr-Harris Cup click here. Â Last weekend Queen's had a win at home against UOIT 6-4 followed by road win as they defeated the Laurentian Voyageurs in Sudbury, 4-1.Â
Andrew Wiebe (Thunder Bay, Ont.) opened and closed the scoring for the Gaels as he slotted two pucks into the Voyageurs net. Final shots for the night totalled 40-30 in favour of Laurentian and Queen's goaltenderÂ
Kevin Bailie (Belleville, Ont.) was credited with 39 saves. Wiebe has contributed 10 goals to the Gaels record this season and is ranked second in the CIS for his two short-handed goals scored earlier this season.  As Queen's enters their final games of regular season play, they will be looking to extend their two-game winning streak and to redeem themselves from last year's loss to RMC in the Carr-Harris Cup.

Women's Hockey This weekend the No.4 Gaels (14-3-3) host the Laurier Golden Hawks (12-5-1) Saturday at 3:30pm and the Waterloo Warriors (9-8-4) Sunday at 2:30pm at the Memorial Centre. Last weekend Queen's had a road win as they defeated UOIT 5-2 in Oshawa. The Gaels scored five straight goals in their defeat of the Ridgebacks with scorers Chelsea Verbeek (Beiseker, Alta.),Â
Addi Halladay (North Augusta, Ont.),Â
Michele Knecht (North York, Ont.) and captain
Shawna Griffin (Redwood Meadows, Alta), who netted two back-to-back powerplay tallies. So far this season, Halladay and Griffin are the leading scorers for Queen's, each with 10 goals. The Gaels saw this weekend's opponents earlier this season as they defeated Laurier but lost to Waterloo. In entering their second last weekend of regular season, Queen's will be looking to extend their two-game winning streak.
Men's VolleyballThis weekend the Gaels (11-7) hit the road as they take on the No.1 McMaster Marauders (17-1) on Friday at 8pm and the Guelph Gryphons (8-10) on Saturday at 8pm. Last weekend Queen's suffered a pair of road losses against Western, 3-1 and Windsor, 3-1. Despite the losses, the top scorers for the Gaels were Markus Trence (Orangeville, Ont.) with 16 kills against the Mustangs and Philippe Goyer (Ottawa) with 13 kills and two serving aces against the Lancers. Scott Brunet (Calgary, Alta.) was a key player in the Queen's defence in last weekend's games as he registered a total of 16 blocks. Brunet is currently ranked eighth in the CIS with a total of 26 solo blocks for the Gaels this season. As Queen's enters their final weekend of regular season play, they are hoping to solidify their ranking for the OUA playoffs right around the corner.  Women's VolleyballThis weekend the Gaels (11-6) hit the road to play their final games of regular season as they take on the No.10 McMaster Marauders (14-3) on Friday at 6pm and the Guelph Gryphons (9-8) on Saturday at 6pm. Last weekend Queen's suffered a single road loss against the No.7 Ottawa Gee-Gees in a hard fought three sets. Despite the loss, Brett Hagarty (Aurora, Ont.) led the scoring with seven kills and seven digs. Caroline Livingston (Kelowna, B.C.) also had a strong match for Queen's contributing three kills and one serving ace. So far this season, Hagarty and Shannon Neville (Cambridge, Ont.) are the top scorers for Gaels as they tied with 149 kills each. Queen's faced both of this weekend's opponents in exhibition earlier this season and will be looking to get back on track as OUA playoffs are coming up.

Men's BasketballThis weekend the Gaels (5-9) hit the road as they head to Hamilton to take on the No.4 McMaster Marauders (12-3) on Saturday at 3pm. Last weekend on the road, Queen's fell to Windsor 93-86 but defeated Western 75-74 with a buzzer beater by
Sukhpreet Singh (Toronto). Despite the loss against the Lancers,
Greg Faulkner was the leading scorer for the Gaels with a game-high of 25 points. Against Western,
Patrick Street (Etobicoke, Ont) pulled through for Queen's as he scored eight of his 23 points for the Gaels in the final frame to close down the 17-point deficit. Faulkner is ranked sixth in the CIS averaging 20.9 points per game so far this season. Queen's hasn't faced this weekend's opponent this season but will be looking for another upset win.

Women's BasketballThis weekend the Gaels (9-5) hit the road as they head to Hamilton to take on the No.9 McMaster Marauders (11-4) on Saturday at 12pm. Last weekend on the road, Queen's narrowly fell to the No.1 Windsor Lancers 89-81 in a hard fought match and on Saturday defeated the Western Mustangs 86-72. Despite the loss against the Lancers,
Jenny Wright (Kingston, Ont.) scored a game-high of 21 points for the Gaels followed byÂ
Liz Boag (Kingston, Ont.) who put up 17 points. In the win over the Mustangs, Wright once again led the scoring for Queen's as she contributed 35 points to the Gaels scoreboard. For Wright it was a career night as she reached the 30-point mark for the first time in her career and established a new career high of 35. The Gaels have yet to face this weekend's opponents in regular season but will be looking to gain their tenth win of the season.Â
