KINGSTON, Ont. (March 5, 2014) - The women's basketball team will be in Windsor on Saturday for the OUA Championship. The Gaels Track and Field team also heads to Edmonton for the CIS Championships.
Women's BasketballÂ
No. 10 Queen's will look to win their first OUA title since 2000-01 this Saturday at 7pm, as the Gaels head to Windsor to play the No. 1 Lancers. Having won every matchup in February, Queen's is riding a nine-game winning streak heading into the OUA Championship game. Windsor has only lost one game all season, dating back to their season-debut against Carleton. With a thrilling overtime win against Carleton last weekend, the Gaels earned a spot at the CIS Championship, March 14-16 at Windsor, for the first time since 2002-2003. The Gaels All-Star lineup includes OUA East First Team members Liz Boag (Kingston, Ont.) and Jenny Wright (Kingston, Ont.), East Second Team All-Star Gemma Bullard (Guelph, Ont.), who was also won the East Tracy McLeod Award, and Andria Priamo (Guelph, Ont.), who snagged a spot on the OUA East All-Rookie team. Queen's is coached by this year's OUA East Coach of the Year, Dave Wilson.

Track and Field: The Gaels are off to Edmonton for the track and field CIS Nationals, which get underway on Thursday.
