Gaels fall in five sets to York

BOX SCORE KINGSTON, Ont. (November 8, 2013) - The Queen's Gaels lost a five set heartbreaker to the visiting York Lions 3-2 with set scores 25-23, 25-22, 23-25, 23-25, 15-9 in OUA volleyball action.

After falling down early 2-0 to York, the Gaels batthled back to force a fifth and final set but the Lions hung on winning in the fifth set 15-9.

Philippe Goyer and Stephen Holmes led the way for Queen's finishing with 24 and 19 points respectively.

York finished with four seperate players wiht 10 or more kills with Ray Szeto leading the Lions at 23 kills.
