No. 2 McMaster sweeps Queen's 3-0 in straight sets

BOX SCORE HAMILTON (November 16, 2013) - The men's volleyball team fell to No. 2 McMaster on the road in their second consecutive straight-set loss Saturday afternoon, 25-21, 25-12, and 25-23.

McMaster's Jayson McCarthy led all players with 11 kills to earn his team the victory. 

Philippe Goyer (Ottawa) and Stephen Holmes (Ancaster, Ont.) combined to lead the Gaels offence, scoring seven points apiece. On the defensive side, Scott Brunet (Calgary) recorded a game-high two solo-blocks, while Holmes led the Gaels with five digs.

The Gaels (3-3) continue their road run next weekend, playing Ryerson (4-3) Friday at 8pm and Toronto (2-6) at 6pm on Saturday.
