| By:
BOX SCORE WATERLOO, Ont. (November 19, 2011) - Brittany Moore of Hannon, Ont. put up 24 points to lead the Gaels to victory over the Waterloo Warriors on the road on Saturday night. The final score of the game was 83-52.

The Gaels started the game hot on both ends of the floor, putting up 27 and 24 points in the first and second quarters respectively. With only 24 points at the half, the Warriors could not find their way to the basket against the staunch Queen's defense.

In the second half, Waterloo battled back but the Gaels were able to hold the Warriors to under 30 points. The Gaels increased their lead further to clinch the win by a 31 point margin.

The Gaels strong performance was due much in part to second chance opportunities and a strong presence in the paint. They dominated the glass, outrebounding the Warriors 44-26. The Gaels shot well with a team field goal percentage of 46 while hitting 42 percent of their shots from beyond the arc.

Moore led all scorers with 24 points shooting 71 percent from the floor. Lisa Minutillo of Brantford, Ont. chipped in 12 points and Christine Wallace of North Gower, Ont. picked up eight rebounds.

The Gaels are back in action next weekend at home taking on McMaster and Brock Friday and Saturday night . Tipoff for both games is 6:00.
