Gaels defeat RMC 76-60 in final game of Triple Threat series

KINGSTON, Ont. (October 3, 2011) - The Gaels defeated the RMC Paladins 76-60 in the final exhibition game of the Triple Threat to fight cancer series on Monday night.

The Gaels played a strong team game led by leading scorer  Bernard Burgesson of Port Hawkesbury, N.S. who dropped 11 points on the Paladins in the win.

The Triple Threat to fight cancer series was put on by the Queen's Gaels, RMC Paladins and St. Lawrance College Vikings in an effort to raise funds for cancer research. 

On Saturday night at the ARC the Gaels defeated the Vikings by a score of 70-58.

The Gaels regular season play begins on Friday November 11th when they play host to the defending OUA champions Lakehead Thunderwolves.
