KINGSTON, Ont. (October 29, 2011) – After entering the second half tied at 40, the Concordia Stingers pulled away beating the Queen's Gaels by a final score of 84-63.
Mackenzie Simpson of, Ottawa led the Gaels in scoring with 21 points to go along with six rebounds. As a team the Gaels shot 35.1% from the field on the game after starting at 45.2% in the first half.
Nikola Misljencevic of Ottawa also had a strong game for the Gaels with 15 points and eight rebounds.
The Stingers were led by Decee Krah of Hamilton, Ont. who had 19 points, four rebounds and one assist.
Next the Gaels will travel to Geneva, New York to take on Hobart College on Friday November 4 at 7pm.
