Gaels drop 65-55 decision to Laval in exhibition play

QUEBEC CITY (October 22, 2011) - The Queen's Gaels men's basketball team travelled to Montreal Saturday for an exhibiiton match with the Rouge et Or. The Gaels could not hold on to a halftime lead and Laval took the game 65-55.

The Gaels held leads of 16-10 after the first quarter and extended that lead to nine points with a 31-23 lead going into the third. Laval would climb back into the game however, taking a 44-41 lead going into the final frame where they would close out the game 65-55.

The Gaels are back in action on Sunday as they visit the Ottawa Gee Gees.
