Second half comeback allows Gaels to draw Lakers

Ojo scored his first goal of the season in Saturday's 2-2 tie
NORTH BAY, Ont. (October 9, 2009) – The Queen's Men's Soccer team used a pair of second half goals to earn a point on the road against the Nipissing Lakers.

With the team down 2-0 entering the second half, Remi Ojo of Toronto, Ont. pulled the Gaels to within a goal when he found the back of the net in the 54th minute.

The Gaels continued to pressure the Lakers and in the 80th minute, Michael Arnold of London, Ont. evened the score and in doing so, earned the Gaels a single point.

The result moves Queen's to 4-1-4 on the season while Nipissing improves to 2-4-3.

Tomorrow afternoon, the Gaels will face a critical matchup against the Laurentian Voyageurs, who are three points ahead of them in the OUA standings. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:15 pm.
