Scott is native of North Bay, Ontario where he played football and basketball at Chippewa High School. He arrived at Queen’s as a red-shirt tight end in 2004. By the end of his career he was one of the top “big receivers “to ever play at Queen’s. Memories of his great catches over the middle and the crowd it took to wrestle him to the ground still linger in the minds of Gael fans.
Scott was an imposing athlete at 6’6 and 245 lbs and versatile enough to play varsity basketball in his senior year as well. Scott is a teacher by trade who has re-located in the Kingston area with his wife and Queen’s grad, Dr Janique Dyba.
He and former teammate Devan Sheahan will develop and manage a new generation of Tricolour receivers. Scott is one of several former Gaels on this year’s staff.
