Mark is currently going into his seventh years with the Gaels, his sixth as the running backs coach. He has coached high school and minor football for 25 years in the Kingston area.
He started at LCVI, and QECVI in the early 80's winning 3 KASSAA championships at LCVI and currently is the offensive coordinator at Frontenac Secondary School, where Frontenac has won 10 KASSAA championships and had made appearances in nine OFSSA bowl games, winning five times in the last 15 years.
Mark also coached with the Limestone Grenadiers of the OVFL/OPFL for seven years, retiring at the end of the 2017 season. He served as both an offensive coordinator and head coach, at the junior varsity and varsity level, making the playoffs in six seasons. Â The Grenadiers were conference champions and OPFL finalists in 2016 at the varsity level.
Mark and his wife Carole are lifelong Kingston residents. Mark is a  graduate of the Queen's University Technological Internship Program and teaches at Frontenac Secondary.
