Queen's Men's Basketball Booster

The Queen's Men's Basketball Booster provides flexible support for the team's most pressing needs and emerging opportunities. Contributions help enhance the overall student-athlete experience and strengthen the program's ability to compete at the highest level.

Funds raised through the Booster directly support athletes, coaches, program development, and equipment. These funds are allocated at the discretion of the Executive Director of Athletics & Recreation in consultation with the Head Coach ensuring resources are directed where they will have the greatest impact.

Queen's Men's Basketball Athletic Awards

Student-athletes balance the demands of academics and varsity competition while representing Queen's with pride. The Queen's Men's Basketball Athletic Awards Fund helps recognize and support these outstanding individuals through Athletic Financial Awards.

Funds raised through this program directly support athletic awards for members of the Queen's Men's Basketball team, helping to attract, retain, and reward talented student-athletes who contribute to the continued success of the program.

The Marco W. Alessio Memorial Men's Basketball Award honours the legacy of Marco William Alessio, a valued member of the Gaels Men's Basketball team whose impact on the program continues to be remembered through this award.

Established by the Gaels basketball community in Marco's memory, this award provides meaningful support to student-athletes who exemplify the commitment, dedication, and pride associated with Queen's Men's Basketball.

The award is granted to student-athletes enrolled in any degree program at Queen's University who are members of the official competition roster of the Gaels Men's Basketball team.

• Honour the legacy and memory of Marco William Alessio
• Recognize the dedication and commitment of Gaels Men's Basketball athletes
