WATERLOO, Ont. – The Ontario University Athletics (OUA) West All-Star team was once again victorious over the East in the 2011-12 OUA Women's Basketball All-Star game, presented by Recharge with Milk, and held at Laurier's Athletics Complex in Waterloo. Though it was the third year in a row that the West team took the title, never has the game been closer. At the end of regulation time, the scoreboard read 75-75 and it was only after five minutes of overtime that the West was able to edge the East 87-84.

MONTREAL (April 30, 2012) - The Gaels travelled to Montreal to compete in the Canadian equivalent to the Oxford-Cambridge boat race this weekend. The 16th Annual Queen's-McGill Boat Challenge, hosted by McGill this year, was held on the Lachine canal on Saturday, April 28th.

OTTAWA (April 19, 2012) - Former Gaels men's hockey star and two-time Senator Joseph A. Sullivan Trophy as the player of the year in Canadian university hockey passed away Tuesday at the age of 55 to cancer.

TORONTO - Canada Basketball announced today the coaching staffs who will lead the 2012 Junior and Cadet Men's National Teams. Currently ranked 5th in the world in the FIBA Boy's World Rankings, Canada will look to continue its successful international results in age-group competitions in 2012.

NEW HAVEN, CT., USA - Gaels cycling competed in another Eastern Collegiate Cycling Conference stage race this weekend in New Haven, Connecticut. Yale hosted the stage race and the team was excited to race one last time before exams. After a friendship building nine hour drive south we arrived and ate large quantities of yams to carbo-load for the upcoming Time Trail and road race the next day.
