I'm happy I chose to play field hockey because it allowed me to compete at the highest level with an awesome group of people. Moving halfway across the country can be daunting, but it's made a lot easier when you join a team willing to train and compete as hard as you are. Sharing that sort of goal makes for an immediate group of friends - I'm still in touch with many of my teammates years after graduation, and some of us are still playing field hockey together!

I'm happy I chose Queen's because it is a supportive, tight-knit community. I love seeing everyone I know around campus, while having closer groups of friends in different areas. Queen's is a supportive environment, and really helped me to transition into university life.
