2008: In his career best season he played all eight games finishing second in receiving yards behind Scott Valberg…recorded 28 catches for a career high 427 yards and collected three touchdowns…In the OUA semifinals he collected one touchdown on a 51 yard catch.

2007: Dressed for all ten games (nine at slotback, one at wide receiver)…He was a backup to five year veteran Rob Bagg…had a team high 26.9 yard average per catch… caught his first touchdown as a Gael, a 79 yard grab Sept. 9 vs. Guelph.

2006: Dressed for all but one game backing up Brad Smith at slotback for five and wide receiver Scott Valberg for the other four… made his first catch at Queen’s against Guelph Sept.9.

High School: Played receiver and defensive back during his career at Holy Cross. . . he was a captain in 2002, 2004 and 2005, winning a junior title in 2002…was named a KASSA All-Star in 2004 and 2005… played receiver with the Limestone Grenadiers of the OVFL winning a junior title in 2004. . . he was a captain in 2004 and 2005 finishing this season being named an OVFL East All-Star.

Personal: Devan’s brother Ryan played quarterback for the Gaels and now is the quarterback coach…his father Pat enters his tenth year as head coach at Queen’s. . . has three uncles who played CIS football, Mike (Concordia), Charles (Carleton) and Terry (Ottawa)…Devan has coached in Kingston’s OPP Minor Football League and tutored at his high school… Devan is planning on a career in teaching and coaching.
