This weekend, Queen's field hockey hosted two home games.
On Friday, the Gaels faced the U of T Varsity Blues in an intense matchup. The score remained tied at 0–0 until the fourth quarter, when the Blues found the back of the net late in the game. Queen's battled hard until the final whistle, but U of T secured a 1–0 victory.
On Sunday, the Gaels took on the Waterloo Warriors in another hard-fought game. Queen's came out strong and held the Warriors scoreless through the first three quarters. Waterloo scored in the final quarter to earn a 1–0 win.
The Gaels are looking forward to returning to Tindall Field next weekend for two more home games. On Friday, Queen's will take on the Western Mustangs at 5 p.m., followed by a matchup against the York Lions on Sunday at 12 p.m.
