Queen's Women's Rugby returned to Nixon Field and returned to the win column with a big 91-5 victory over the McMaster Marauders Saturday afternoon.
Tatum Lougheed (Kinesiology) led the Gaels in scoring with 21 points off one try and eight converts, while
Kennedi Stevenson (Arts & Science) led the Gaels in tries with four in the win.
Salomé Lapp (Arts & Science) and
Robyn Baker (Arts & Science) also recorded multiple tries, with Lapp recording three and Baker adding two.
Brynn Jenkins (Health Sciences),
Kyleigh Chandran (Arts & Science),
Matilda Pender (Computing),
Theodora O'Hara (Arts & Science), and
Ella Beltran (Kinesiology) also recorded tries in the win.
With the victory, the Gaels improved their record to 3-1. Queen's is back home next weekend, hosting the Laurier Golden Hawks on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 5 PM at Nixon Field.
