Queen's Men's Rugby got off to a winning start to the season, defeating the Laurier Golden Hawks 31-19 in their season opener Sunday afternoon in Waterloo.
Briar Barron (Applied Science) led the way with a team-high two tries while
Dexter Tornquist (Smith School of Business),
Coen Quinn (Applied Science), and
Ben Greenstein (Arts & Science) added one try each.
Chase Kittleson (Arts & Science) recorded two converts while
Adam Stander (Smith Engineering) added one try in the win.
The Gaels are on the road again next weekend, taking on the Guelph Gryphons on Saturday at 3:30 PM.
