Hannah Lee from Queen's Golf was named the Alfie Pierce Trophy recipient for the 2025-26 season at Queen's Athletics & Recreation's Colour Awards banquet Tuesday night.
The Alfie Pierce Trophy is presented to a Women's Sports student-athlete on Varsity Clubs who have contributed the most to athletics in their first year at Queen's.
Lee (Health Sciences & Nursing) was named Queen's Golf's MVP after being named an OUA Second Team All-Star and winning two events (Brock Invitational and Waterloo Invitational) in 2025.
Lee also recorded the lowest score in Queen's Golf history, with a 72 in Round 1 at the Waterloo Invitational, as well as the lowest stroke average (77.1).
"Hannah made the transition to university golf seamlessly, winning in her second event with the lowest score in Queen's history, 73, only to win her following event and break that scoring record again with a 72," said Queen's Golf Head Coach
Jessie Mercer. "Hannah was on the podium at all but one regular season event, and was the top Queen's finisher at OUAs since 2015."
