Queen's Men's Rugby travelled to St. Catharines, Ont. Saturday afternoon and came away with a big 45-7 win over the Brock Badgers.
The victory improved the Gaels' record to 3-2 on the season.
James Trekker (Psychology) opened the scoring for Queen's in the seventh minute and after the Badgers evened the score six minutes later, the Gaels scored the game's final 38 points for the big road win.
James added a second try for Queen's while
Evan Palmer (Arts & Science) also recorded two tries in the win for the Gaels.
Lucas Townsend (Smith School of Business) connected on five converts for 10 points as well.
Also scoring for Queen's were Cam Bubyn (Computer Science),
Angus Dewar (Arts & Science), and Brent Nash (Smith School of Business), with one try each.
The Gaels will close out their regular season next weekend, hosting the Trent Excalibur Friday, Oct. 16 at 7 PM at Nixon Field.
