Queen's Women's Volleyball completed the weekend sweep of their crosstown rivals, the RMC Paladins, on Saturday with a second straight 3-0 win.
The Gaels won in straight sets 25-14, 25-14, 25-11 for their fifth straight win in the regular season, improving their record to 9-5.
Abbey McAlpine (Arts & Science) led Queen's with a game-high 16 kills while
Ellaina Coley (Arts & Science) had a game-high 26 assists, and
Holly Biasi (Arts & Science) contributed a game-high 12 digs for the Gaels in the win.
Queen's now sits fifth in the OUA standings, two games behind the third place Western Mustangs (11-3) and fourth place McMaster Marauders (11-3). The Gaels return to the court next weekend, hosting the Marauders for a doubleheader. Queen's hosts McMaster on Friday, Jan. 30 at 6 PM and Saturday, Jan. 31 at 4 PM at the Athletics and Recreation Centre (ARC).
