Queen's Women's Soccer dropped their first contest of the season, losing 2-0 to the Toronto Varsity Blues in Toronto, Ont. Sunday.
Anne Yeomans scored twice for the Varisty Blues in the win.
The Gaels were outshot 12-10 by Toronto, and 6-5 on shots on goal, with Queen's goalkeeper
Ashley Strand making four saves.
With the loss, the Gaels' record fell to 3-1-0. Queen's Women's Soccer is back in action next weekend, taking on the cross-town rival RMC Paladins on Sunday, Sept. 14 at 3 p.m. at Richardson Stadium. Admission is free for fans to watch the game.
