Queen's Women's Volleyball alumna Amanda Siksna signs professional contract in Germany

Queen's Women's Volleyball alumna Amanda Siksna signed a professional contract with DSC Volleyball in Dresden, Germany on Thursday.

Siksna (Education) was named a Second Team OUA All-Star this past season after finishing 2024-25 with 114 blocks, 120 kills, 49 digs, and a hitting percentage of .288. Siksna's defensive impact was pivotal to the Gaels success, capping the campaign first in the country with 99 total blocks, averaging 1.38 blocks per set.
 

"Amanda has been an incredible defensive leader for this program during her time at Queen's," Queen's Women's Volleyball Head Coach Shanice Marcelle said after the season. "She works incredibly hard in training and brings a lot of professionalism in mastering her craft."

Siksna, who was also named a First Team OUA All-Star after the 2023-24 season, played four seasons for the Gaels from 2021-25, totalling 259 blocks, 342 kills, and 143 digs.
