Nolan Hutcheson and goaltender
Christian Purboo have been named OUA First Team All-Stars for the 2024-25 season, the conference announced Thursday.

Brett Gibson praised the trio's contributions, stating, "Our team had a very successful regular season. Christian, Nolan, and Owen had a phenomenal season. They represent who we are as a team and are ambassadors for the program."
Lalonde's (Geography/French) presence on the blue line was undeniable.The fourth-year blueliner's vision and ability to create plays set him apart as one of the conference's most elite defenders recording 23 assists—ranking third in the OUA—while adding two goals for a total of 25 points in 26 appearances.
Gibson also highlighted Lalonde's consistency adding, "Owen has been so reliable and consistent throughout his four years in the OUA. He sees and makes plays that other defencemen simply cannot make."
Hutcheson (Health Studies), also named the recipient of the True Sport Award, has been an offensive force for the Gaels, capping off the season with 20 goals, ranking third in the country.
The fourth-year forward also netted seven game-winning goals and recorded two hat tricks, consistently stepping up in game-defying moments.
Purboo (Economics), who was also named OUA Goaltender of the Year, backstopped Queen's with a stellar season in net.
The veteran netminder recorded a .927 save percentage and a 2.25 goals-against average, ranking third and fourth in the conference, respectively. Purboo also secured 15 wins in 21 appearances, finishing third in the nation in total wins.
