Five Queen's Men's Rugby players were named OUA First Team All-Stars for the 2025 season, the conference announced Tuesday.
Cam Bubyn,
Marcus D'Acre,
Connor Hay,
Bauer Mercer, and
Tao Nichol were all named OUA First Team All-Stars for their performances with the Gaels this season. D'Acre was also named the OUA Men's Rugby Player of the Year.
D'Acre (Economics) was named Player of the Year and a First Team All-Star at Fly Half after leading Queen's and finished second in the OUA in scoring with 57 points in the regular season off three tries and 21 conversions.
"Marcus has been a fantastic leader and field general the past two years," said Queen's Men's Rugby Head Coach
John Lavery. "He's the most evolved player I have met in my coaching career."
Bubyn (Computer Science) was named an OUA First Team All-Star at Hooker after finishing the year with five tries, which led the team.
Nichol (Applied Science) was named an OUA First Team All-Star at Back Row.
"Cam and Tao are consistent performers and real iron men of the game," said Lavery. "They have played in each of our matches over the past two seasons and been a huge part of any success we've enjoyed."
Hay (History) was named an OUA First Team All-Star at Second Row.
"Connor has huge heart, and a great leader to the program."
Mercer (Economics) was named an OUA First Team All-Star at Prop.
"Bauer is a fifth year forward who has been a great influence on the group. He is a generous mentor to our young front row contingent."

Queen's Men's Rugby finished the regular season with a 4-2 record and advanced to the OUA Championship Game where they will take on the Guelph Gryphons Thursday night in Guelph, Ont.
