The Queen's Gaels Women's Basketball team extended their undefeated streak to 10-0 with a commanding 84-42 victory over the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks on Friday, November 28. The Gaels showcased their strength and efficiency on both ends of the court, continuing their dominant start to the season.
Kiyara Letlow (Kinesiology) led the Gaels offensively with 18 points, while
Mikayla McFarlane (Kinesiology) added 12 points and
Haley Barbieri (Faculty of Arts & Science) contributed 11 points.
Ally Smith (Kinesiology) made both of her three-point attempts, keeping the Gaels' offense sharp.
The Gaels came out strong in the first quarter, opening with a 20-12 lead. They maintained their momentum through the second quarter, outscoring the Ridgebacks 20-9 and taking a 40-21 advantage into halftime. The Gaels continued to dominate in the third quarter, putting up 25 points and ending the third quarter 65-30. In the fourth quarter, the Gaels finished strong with a 19-12 advantage to secure the 84-42 victory.
